About MET….

The Crone/Wise Woman (in training)…..stay with me on this one please – many of you know what I’m talking about!

AND….for those of you who don’t know, please accept a genuine and warm welcome. I’m envisioning much fun while practicing this new persona that’s been rising to the forefront in preparation for the launch of this website and blog!

Up to this time in my life, my experience [which I sometimes refer to as being in the ‘earth-school’] has been fascinating to say the least. Not always rainbows and unicorns but “isn’t that interesting” is an expression that serves me well if/when I need to make lemonade out of lemons. For purposes of this page, and because there are simply too many stories that can be told, it seemed that touching on two aspects of About MET may be the best way to offer a little insight.

From a work/career perspective a significant number of years were spent ‘being at the centre’ of multiple executive groups and wearing a collection of administrative and operational hats. There was a foundational element of serving as “the hub at the centre of a wheel” (today I see it as “caretaking” ) and with the introduction of computers a new passion evolved.

The result? In 2006 Wellcoaches [ www.wellcoaches.com ] entered my world and for the past 16+ years I’ve been gifted to engage with a most marvellous team. Remaining somewhat as “the center of the hub”, plus performing what I often call “mental gymnastics“, led to two nicknames… Master Snoop and IT Wise Woman.

My “soul group family” includes an adopted and birth family with 3 siblings – two marriages, two children, three step-children, 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren with #11 on the way – and – multiple brothers & sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

My best friend and soulmate, Donald James, left the earth-school on our anniversary in 2018 and I’ve truly spent these past four years exploring, reflecting and looking for a purpose. This idea of being a Crone/Wise Woman (in training) probably came forward earlier this year and was accompanied by a lovely sense/hint of fun and lightness which had been sorely lacking in my approach to life.

So….there it is in short form for now! I’ve decided I might just enjoy exploring, embracing and sharing some of my “perfectly on time” stories and experiences.
